These T-Hubs play a central role in nurturing startups and micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) involved in frontier technologies.
The DST has already supported eight quantum tech startups:
- QuNu Labs – Developer of Qshield, a secure quantum encryption platform
- QpiAI – Builder of a 25-Qubit Quantum Processor based on superconducting technology
- Dimira Technologies
- PRENISHQ
- QuPrayog
- Pristine Diamonds
- Quanastra
- Quan2D Technologies
To address the demand for skilled professionals in the quantum domain, the government has allocated ₹205.49 crore for academic training and skilling programs in quantum technologies.
The National Quantum Mission also promotes strong industry-academia partnerships, aiming to bridge research and commercialization.
T-Hubs serve as collaborative platforms that integrate R&D institutions, universities, startups, and private industry to co-develop prototypes, scale emerging technologies, and bring quantum solutions to market.
